Separate the useful mechanism from the asset

Smart contracts can express agreed payment conditions between participants. A blockchain may help when independent parties need a common settlement record and no single operator is sufficient.

Those needs do not automatically require a new cryptocurrency. AIC would compare a conventional service, existing payment assets, and a dedicated utility token against the same workload.

Three design questions

Why a blockchain?

Identify the trust or coordination problem. If one accountable operator and a database meet the need, additional chain complexity may not be justified.

Why a digital asset?

Test whether programmable settlement offers enough benefit to justify transaction fees, finality delays, key management, and volatility exposure.

Why an AIC token?

Explain the specific right or service it enables. Compare alternatives and disclose who bears operating costs and funds any rewards.

Evidence needed before adoption

Service demand

People repeatedly use the underlying service because its results are useful and its cost is understandable.

Reliable settlement

Acceptance, cancellation, refund, and dispute paths work under realistic failures and adversarial behavior.

Responsible access

Participants understand permissions, fees, custody, and recovery. AI agents have bounded authority rather than unrestricted spending.

Discuss AI research, blockchain engineering, a supervised pilot, or a technical collaboration. Describe your use case and the evidence needed to evaluate it.
